We arrange private, custom-made tours around the Rovaniemi region. Our services vary from day hikes to outdoor photo shoots.
Depending on your wishes, we can include snowshoeing, ice fishing, cooking on open fire, outdoor survival skills, arctic animals, etc. in your custom-made trip.
EXAMPLES OF OUR CUSTOM-MADE TRIPSDay trip to a Laavu This is what Finns love to do on their free time! We drive away from the city center to a Laavu (fireplace and shelter). We make a fire and prepare traditional Finnish pancakes outdoors. During this trip we will learn about the connection between Finns and the local nature. If the weather permits, we can also try out ice fishing, snowshoeing or making coffee by the bonfire. Hike at the Arctic Circle hiking area Would you like to get to know the Nordic Nature but feel like a hike in the untouched nature is a bit too much? The Arctic Circle hiking area is a popular pastime destination, as it is easily accessible, and there are many scenic spots along the well-marked routes. The hiking route is also relatively close to the city center (25 km North of the Arctic Circle), so this trip can be made in 3 hours. Including additional Northern elements into your holiday pictures We can arrange different kinds of photo shoots in nature. How about taking home pictures of you enjoying your day with an Arctic dog (husky or Alaskan malamute) in the middle untouched nature? We can post-process the best pictures and send them to you afterwards. We shoot all photos in RAW, and you can take the originals with you if you like. |
We want to provide you with the best experience and will consider your wishes and adjust the difficulty level of the program accordingly. The maximum group size for our tailor-made tours is 6 persons (4 adults + 2 children).
