Join us on a daytime snowshoeing tour to explore the Finnish nature and its inhabitants!
With all the hiking gear packed in the trunk of our Jeep, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi. Our licensed wilderness guide will drive you out into the Finnish wilderness, away from the much frequented tourist hot-spots, to provide you with a unique experience. On a snowshoe hike in local forest you’ll discover the beautiful side of Lapland in winter.
We will learn about Nordic animals by identifying animal tracks in the snow, and if luck will have it we might also see some of the elusive animals that live here during the winter like the willow grouse or wood grouse. During the hike we’ll set up a crackling warm campfire to chase out the cold, enjoy a hot drink and a local pastry while listening to local tales. We will encounter beautiful views and several photo opportunities. Our guide will take pictures of the trip along the way. Refreshed and warmed up we’ll set out on the track back to the car and then take you back to the buzzle of Rovaniemi.

We provide snow shoes and seat covers for this tour. We kindly ask you to check that you have adequate clothing for staying outdoors. If you are unsure of what to wear, please check out our useful tips or contact our team and we will give you advice beforehand!
