The Frozen Waterfalls of Korouoma

Join us on a hike to find the majestic frozen waterfalls of Korouoma!

At the end of January the polar night is over and the days start getting longer. This is a wonderful time of the year to visit the famous National park of Korouoma. We start our 1,5 hour drive towards Posio, to the National Park. Once we arrive, our licensed wilderness guide will guide you through an ancient forest to the majestic frozen waterfalls, hidden deep in the forest.

During the hike we’ll set up a crackling warm campfire to chase out the cold, enjoy a hot drink and make a local barbecue.  We will learn about Nordic animals and nature along the way, and encounter beautiful views and several photo opportunities. Our guide will also take pictures of the trip, and you will get pictures of the best memories by email after the tour.
