Join us for an adventure that combines outdoor life with Finnish culinary tradition! During this tour, we walk through the forest to a Laavu (Finnish outdoor shelter) and learn to prepare a Finnish dinner on open fire. We will learn about the local nature, traditions and cooking culture.
In the beginning of the tour our licensed wilderness guide will pick you up at your accommodation and start driving away from the city. Once we arrive in our forest location, we will walk a bit deeper into the woods. Once we reach our campsite, our guide will show you how to make a crackling warm fire out in the cold. Over a warm drink, listening to stories about Finnish traditions, we start preparing our traditional Finnish meal. We prepare the dinner using traditional methods, so this meal will be authentic and definitely not fast food. We will capture the most important moments of the tour with our camera and send you the best shots afterwards. As our adventure comes to an end we’ll take you back to your pick-up spot in town.

WHAT TO WEAR
We prepare the meal in an outdoor shelter. We kindly ask you to check that you have adequate clothing for staying outdoors for several hours. If you are unsure of what to wear, please check out our how to on winter clothing or contact our team to rent winter clothing from us.
